I saw it in a virtual DEMA virtual meeting with my AL distributor in Honolulu. It looks livery similar to the Peregrine but I think has the features of an i300. I know it is coming soon...just when is up to AL

Thnak you . Suunto on hand or Console ? what do you think more practical?

We have suuntos computers in bungee mounts on wrist/forearm. My wife and I use Vyper Airs with transmitters mounted on short hp hoses. We still have SPGs but mostly because there has not been any impetus to remove them from our 1st stages (that should be read as too lazy to take them off)....and besides if we remove them, we will need to "remember" to take them with us as part of the save-a-dive kit...with them attached they are unlikely to be forgotten when packing the car for a dive...again, keeping them attached is just a manifestation of my laziness.

Suunto had a known pressure sensor failure issue and had to be sued to give people the repairs or replacements. Unfortunately only covered devices purchased in the USA. My pressure sensor failed and Sunnto agent told me to get stuffed.

USA Suunto Dive Settlement Information

So bought a Shearwater and Shearwater are known to fix dive computers for owners even if the device is out of warranty.

This is a valid, and important, point. The Suunto pressure sensor failure was limited to one or two models (I know one was the Cobra, and I think there was a second model), but the issue is that Suunto didn't handle the situation... at all. This kind of problem with Suunto arises because they farm out their distribution: until around 2016, Aqualung was Suunto's distributor in the US; since then it's been Huish Outdoors. All of the pressure sensor complaints were directed to the distributor; the distributor claimed it was Suunto's problem, not theirs. Suunto redirected people to the distributor. So no one wanted to take responsibility for fixing the problem... until the lawsuit.

As much as I like my Suuntos, I'd be willing to bet this "not my problem" issue between Suunto and their distributor (now Huish...) hasn't been resolved.

I like Suunto specifically because the caution in the calculations. Almost all models are wrist/watch style these days. I think the only current console style they do is the Cobra 3, which has the benefit of being hose air integrated and having an electronic compass built in too, so cuts out a lot of clutter, but even they are pretty thin on the ground now. You'll get much better value and choice with wrist mount, to be honest, even though I personally prefer the console style.

I had two computers listed on the recall.

What got me was both were bought from authorized dealers and registered. Suunto did not notify me of the recalls (the other computer had another safety recall). I found out about both recalls here.

I did the recalls and sold both, never again will I buy a Suunto and I cannot recommend them.

OP computer is a very personal choice console vs wrist is personal preference. What conditions do you dive in? Limited VIS? Do you have any vision problems? All these factors effect your choice.

i finely pull the trigger on the Atmos Mission One Dive Computer and separate small SPG form Cressi . i know it is not the best, but for what i do it will serve me. i was also thinking i can always upgrade... i also like the fact that i can use the Atmos as a regular watch during my trips . next week i will put it to test . going to dive at Lady luck ship wreck (135ft) of Pompano Beach- FL . Thank you for all the advice guys

I suspect you're right. Distribution is a big cost - there's a big inventive to keep it farmed out if you can, especially in a sector that's hardly booming, and esp in North America, away from their home market.

Thankfully my Cobra has been good as gold and I'm super-fond of it, but I'm fully aware I've been lucky. Not looking forward to when the time comes to replace it.
