Please do not practice breathing exercises and techniques when underwater
You pulled a sentence out of my post and quoted it out of context.

That was not my point. My bad, I did not understand your post. I thought you meant that you usually are able to have a 4 minute breathing cycle while diving, after your breathing exercises out of the water.

I was actually curious as I have a high SAC.

Over breathing is a big problem today, my resting breath rate is 7 breaths a minute, have a look at the book I mentioned.

Forget about practicing emergency assents from depth it’s to dangerous. I can hold an exhalation for over a minute and an inhalation for 3 minutes. Get “ The Oxygen Advantage by Patrick McKeown “ On my last dive with a buddy I used 40% less air.
Obviously don’t practice any breathing techniques in the water as you could pass out.

If I ever run out of "Oxygen" and have no option but to CESA, I have seriously screwed up a deco dive and am in a world of hurt. :wink:
Hum. I don’t get it.

Not your fault, this is the source, probably sb is reading the wrong meta data when linking:
<!-- Pinterest Pins -->
<meta itemprop="name" content="Empty Oxygen Tank During a Dive? You Need a CESA." />
<meta property="article:section" content="LiveAbout" />

SB is reading the <title>, as it should. AFAICT these particular <meta>s are "custom" pulled out of some Pinterest webmonkey's behind. Looks like their content is appropriate for their intended audience.

Hum. I don’t get it.
Oxygen is usually taken at the 6m mark or higher during serious decompression.

If you run out of oxygen and skip the last deco stops you have a problem.
