I really can't complain. Yes, the "Kiki Bird" can be heard outside my window, screeching "Ki-ki-ki-ki-crap its cold out here!", but it is warm & toasty in my condo. In fact, the building acts so much like a heat sink that I haven't even turned on my furnace yet this winter. (The flip side is that I costs a small fortune for A/C in the summer.) So I am dealing with -20C to -25C (-4F to -13F) outside and 22C (71F) in my condo without using the furnace. Time to stay inside for a few more days -- the forecast is to be above freezing by Sunday.

Last week Mrs. Miller and I entertained old friends from Canada at our hill top home in CenCal over looking the blue Pacific and lush green arroyos ( aka valleys or canyons.) and the 70 degree warm sunny days.

Every morning at breakfast we would set looking over the ocean and arroyos as they checked the deteriorating weather at their ranch 100 miles or so north of Toronto.

We suggested they remain until the Canadian weather improved but the call of the north was too much and they departed in the middle of the ever increasing deteriorating weather.

We know they made it home....They are indeed "God's frozen people"

It was actually warmer and sunny 7 hours north of me at a friends residence Northern Ontario, Canada....

78 again?

It was 5* yesterday morning. It's in the 20's at the moment and snowing. Next Tuesday...it's supposed to be 65* and sunny.

I think I'll be shooting for an early departure and hit the golf course next Tuesday.

I have to agree with all the complaints above. I've wore sweaters and socks for at least 5 days in a row now maybe 6. Right now is almost noon and we finally hit 70 brrrrrrrrrr.

And by the way this complaint is also diving related because the seas have been ridiculous for the last 2 weekends, this one coming is not looking great either with occasional 5 foot waves.

This weather is awful It's 73f outside. I'm going to have to buy some of those flip-flops that don't have the toe part so I can wear socks if this keeps up for long.
