If you like true stories, I've written a couple of books (in native English). Amazing Diving Stories is now available from an American distributor as a paperback, a Kindle or e-reader and as an audio book. Shark Bytes is available as both hard copy and Kindle/e-reader but not as an audio book. Amazon.

Found those books in Amazon, but no kindle version available.

It's been listed a few times here already, but I just finished reading "The Last Dive" by Bernie Chowdhury. Great book -- lots of diving history and science intertwined with the main -- very tragic -- story. The author was either directly involved in the events in the book or knew the people involved, which made it even more compelling. Very sobering too -- sadly, quite a few stories of people pushing the limits and getting injured or dying. Gripping, but hard to read at times just because you know these are real people. I think it is also very educational, and it conveys a great deal of useful knowledge through telling the story. (I might pick up the Shadow Divers book too, since the stories are related.)

I have it in the pile of books to read, maybe I will shuffle it to the top...
