It's been listed a few times here already, but I just finished reading "The Last Dive" by Bernie Chowdhury. Great book...

Every diver should read the chapter where the author describes his own DCS hit, the mistakes that led up to it, and the fearful aftermath.
It's gritty, it's real, and it brings home how very serious are the risks and responsibilities we must face as divers.
