The only mask I've found that fits me the best and leaks the least - a SP one. It was given to me. Of course, it was a recently discontinued model. I bought the replacement model. Meh. Found the identical model of the one given to me used on Amazon, which made me happy. I don't have anything else SP, because my shop (DRIS) doesn't carry them.

My regs are AL and Apeks, BP/W is Halcyon, SM rig is Hollis, wetsuits are Bare, fins are Atomic and Deep6.

helps? hell if I paid less than half of what they retail for I would too. Would you at retail cost?

I buy NOTHING at full retail cost. That includes regulators.

I'm not asking you to second guess them. I'm asking if you were just starting now, given all the options on the market, would you buy those same regulators at their current retail prices. No one has questioned their quality/performance, hell a bunch of us including myself have come out saying we own a bunch. I have a dozen? I use them on basically all of my diving *unless I'm diving double hose*, but that has no bearing on whether I would ever recommend someone buy them new at retail price *which I wouldn't*
I can't say, as I will likely not ever have to buy new regulators ever again, that's the point, right?

I like scubapro, in general, other than breaking 3 pair of nova fins which they replaced, I’ve never had a problem, especially the regulators. I had problems with some of the lower cost Regs mentioned so I’ll avoid those in the future, I prefer atomic now days with the MK 17 G250 a close second. I’m not loyal to any brand and always looks for the best deal for whatever suits my needs.

true. All of the regs that I have bought are either in use by me, or by students of mine. The scubapros likely won't get sold, but I do prefer my Poseidon seconds. I wouldn't buy either of them new at full retail though. 0% chance I'd even look at them. If the pricing was more reasonable, I would still avoid Scubapro just like I avoid Huish and Aqualung because of how the companies treat their customers.

You keyman purchasers do nothing but piss me off! I'm sorry that my purchases subsidize yours.

Oh touche. Something has to make up for the minimum wage one receives for teaching. I'm certain that the manufacturers still make mucho dinero on Keyman purchases and I doubt that subsidises anything. This is a small market magnified ever so much by "know it all bullies" yelling on SB. (Present company excluded, of course).

BTW. Geo 2 is great. Diving using DSAT with my Shearwater is an excellent combo!

Hi Cliff, of course, nothing personal. My SP regs and BCs are wonderful. My Oceanic computers are just great. To each their own.
