Need Information.......

Sea Pro single hose regulators
Designed by Larry Scott (The co-founder of Sea Pro & dear long term friend)
Manufactured by Sea Pro (The company that manufactured At Pac)

As I recall there were two models. Does any one have any information on them?
Their common names?
Years produced?
A Sea Pro catalog? What year issued (rare)
A picture of them?
The SDM article? When? Title?

I am specifically interested in the Sea Pro model with the dual chambered first stage that had a leak path designed to inflate the at Pac after 90 seconds of the diver not breathing.

I have that model in mint condition --Need Information!

Hey Sam,
Perhaps you could research some of the Watergil guys. Watergil produced the AtPac back in the early 1970's and predates the formation of Sea Pro. There was a "relationship" between Watergil and many of the L.A. based diveshops that were certifying through NASDS. You might try some of those guys. In 1974 I managed a NASDS very pro Scubapro shop in San Pedro. In 1976 I bought out a NASDS shop in San Jose. They were very pro Watergil; acquired quite a few At-Pac's back then and even a couple of the "Cousteau'esque" Fiberglas shrouds that would cover the entire wing assembly. Very cool stuff and decades ahead of their time. I atill have a left handed orange Watergil Second stage Octopus. In the late 70's and early 80's many divers preferred that the Octopus be accessable by the left hand(for those who were even using them). I wouldn't be at all surprise if it was this prefereance that may have led to Scubapro's AirII/inflator. It was a time of remarkable men and women and great innovation.

Thank you for your response.

I discovered one SDM -- only one! --advertisement and a friend has the parts break down for the regulators.

I still have a plastic shroud for the at pac.

Yes way ahead of their times

Hi Alfonso,
The first stage attached to your unit is indeed a " Seapro" an update of their previous design.
