I've had a couple of interesting experiences recently at Scuba.com. The prices on some items that I was looking at went down around midnight. My girlfriend was looking at a wetsuit for $120 and suddenly it was $69. We ordered it. Last night I waited to see if a pressure gauge was going to go down and I got it for $10.95 instead of $15.95. It is now back up to $15.95. .
Not a big deal either, but I ordered a 4000 psi gauge and they sent a 400 psi gauge. I returned it over a week ago and have not heard a word from them and they have not responded to my emails.
That doesn't sound right. Are you sure you didn't get a metric gauge, reading bar rather then psi?
That's what they asked however it very clearly said "PSI" and only went to 400. If it would have been BAR instead I would have kept it. It's not so much the mistake as it is the lack of response. If it somehow turns out that it is BAR then I'll admit to being a dumb s#@t and learn how to read metric gauges.![]()
Anyone ever used scuba gear express in la? Found a good deal on a deepblu cosmiq with them.
Yes and very helpful but recommending a computer brand that is way to conservative for my taste. Answered all my questions about the deepblu and had the same concerns that I did.I just spent a few minutes looking them up. Looks like they have an identical website to a shop called Eco Dive Center in LA. Same 888 number is on both sites but Eco has a local number listed as well. Not sure if its a case of old site/new site? Did you call them?
