And all ready choosed the bs i want. Particularly by what was writed here.
I choose dive riteTRANSPLATE HARNESS with ss plate and 45 lbs Rec wing
attachment.php

The good new is that you'll be able to harvest the hardware and use it on a simple 10-dollar harness if you should ever want or need to. There are enough D-rings and slides for 2 separate BP/Ws so you could have both a(n) SS and an AL BP/W for different situations. You'll still be able to use the wing for doubles.

I have done this with a similar DR harness that came on one of my used backplates. Used shears to expedite the process!

YAY shears!

Why the antipathy towards Dive Rite?

I don't think this is antipathy towards DR as much as a criticism of an overly expensive and complex harness system. DR also offers the basic harness, but I guess some folks just cant resist the bells and whistles, even when they detract from function and performance..

OH SUCH FLUFF!!!! (there are too many d-rings, oh, and no crotch strap) - what a piece of junk...another tech wanna-be..... :rofl3:

I don't have any antipathy towards DiveRite, or Hollis, or Scubapro (they all sell the same convoluted thing). I own stuff made by all of them, and I want them to make money and not go out of business. I do have antipathy for convolution.......oh and cheap plastic buckles holding the whole thing together.

My understanding is that the CEO of Dive Rite is a respected cave/tech diver who designs diving equipment to address practical requirements and actively uses his stuff.
