Anyone dive the past couple of days? Have things gotten any better since last weekend?

15 to 20 foot visibility below 40 feet at Stillwater Cove. There is still a pretty good layer green brownish Mc just below the surface. Laptop was silky come today

I did two dives at Breakwater yesterday. Vis on the wall was an easy 30' at 40' of depth. There were a lot of fish on this particular dive & we saw some large lingcod and a couple of sea lions playing around.

The second dive was on the pipe and surge had picked up slightly. Vis was down to around 10-15', but we still had a great dive.

Went to Lobos today.... Top side was beautiful with a temp around 75ish, little to no fog. Headed out to HITW, vis was 20ish at 60fsw or so. Had a temp of 55ish at depth. Very little swell and surge. Wasnt the best Ive had at Lobos, but it was beautiful none the less. Happy 4th everyone...

Fun dive in the Cannery Point Wall area of Lobos this morning. Flat calm & low tide lapping the end of the ramp. Overcast made for a dark dive, but a vis estimate of 20+ feet seems reasonable. 52F minimum temperature.

Saw several lings, the usual collection of rockfish & some nice schools of blues just outside my video range.

The kelp has filled in & the boat channel is small and closer to the west side of Whaler's than in past years. I'm glad I took the time to take a good look at it from the parking lot 'cause it could be hard to spot if you don't know where to look.

Max depth 62 feet, 39 minutes. Remembered my 3D synch cable this time & tried out my new surface marker buoy.

Did two dives at Breakwater today. Vis was very good at 30+. Vis got worse at depth. 58 degree water. 56 at depth. Second dive vis dropped off a bit. Beautiful day. Tons of Nudibranchs and saw one that I have never seen this far north. Dive 450-451 110.jpg

Not sure of the name.
