Best shipwrecks Diving Sites in South Florida?

I would like to know what are the best shipwreck sites I should consider diving, within the depth range of 15' to 170', in South Florida area. Any comments?

There are 3 significant wreck trails or treks in Florida, including the Panhandle Florida Panhandle Shipwreck Trail Shipwreck trail, the Broward county shipwreck trail, and the Florida Keys shipwreck trail. ScubaBoard will be conducting a 4 day liveaboard covering 6 of the 9 Florida Keys wrecks in July. This will be an recreational through AN/DP trip, all are welcome. Jim Wyatt will be offering a Technical Wreck Pen class on the trip.

Nicely, half of those on your list are actually shipwrecks. The other half being boats that were placed on the bottom of the ocean.

Excluding the Keys, the Hydro Atlantic is probably best by reputation and it is a true wreck. If you will be there during the Goliath season, also consider the Zion Train wreck out of WPB or Jupiter and the Castor wreck from Boynton Beach.

This is the wreck of the Castor , Boynton Beach... I think this is one of the most spectacular wrecks in all of Florida, and in the fall with the goliath Spawning, it pretty much eclipses all the others. This time of the year, you might just see 5 to 10 on some days...resident goliaths...come the fall, it can easily be 100 to 200 on a single dive!!!

Not exactly spectacular, but fun, off WPB/Jupiter, the "Governor's Riverwalk", four island-hop freighters now slowly collapsing from ships into "ships of the deep". You can zigzag from one to the other if you use the current wisely.

i don't see the jim atria on this list

Jim Atria was a developer, diver, and sport fisherman who lived in Broward County. He assisted in the sinking of this vessel because he wanted to show his appreciation for the surrounding community. The ship, a 240-foot Dutch freighter, was originally named Poinciana and was built in 1961. She was later renamed Jim Atria.
