i don't see the jim atria on this list

Jim Atria was a developer, diver, and sport fisherman who lived in Broward County. He assisted in the sinking of this vessel because he wanted to show his appreciation for the surrounding community. The ship, a 240-foot Dutch freighter, was originally named Poinciana and was built in 1961. She was later renamed Jim Atria.

Thanks!

asking what are the best wrecks is like asking for the best beach. we have dozens and dozens...okay...hundreds of wrecks in our coastal waters. we have wrecks sunk as artificial reefs, we have historically significant wrecks (for example The Halsey, sunk by a German U-Boat in WWII) and old wrecks (1715 Spanish Treasure fleet) plus planes, a few cars and various stuff.

Go hang out in a dive shop or visit a dive club and actually talk to divers. I'm a big wreck guy myself and I could go on and on and on......

I'm with the Vero Beach Scuba Club and we do our share of some awesome wreck diving. Come visit!
