How come I'm not feeling better?? LOL.. photos were so-so at best and not post worthy...

Tough conditions for photographers...Viz really blew out with the tide change... but not even the pics of the little green moray? He was posing like a rock star....

eh, yeah, they are OK..

Been visiting family in the frozen wasteland of Ohio but am heading back.
Big shoutout to Kevin for the juvenile spotted trunkfish id!
That is definitely our little rock star. What is really wild is I've never seen the adult version in all our dives here.
May HAVE to edit something now.
Jenny- dive photo etiquette is a poorly taught requisite skill
if you think that's bad try setting up and waiting 15 minutes for the animal to resume its behavior when a hoard of flashlight waving knee stomping viz killers descend scaring off the critter and then pointing at where I was shooting like "what is it"....
lol!
John

So, these may not be "post worthy" by some standards, but here are some shots from my Dec 8th BHB visit. Gave me something to do in the rain and cold. These were shot with a GoPro Hero 2. Still working on my shooting and editing skills.

BHB is an experience not a contest, these are great pictures and I bet you had an awesome experience..

You are right on both counts, of course. Just new to taking dive pictures and am sometimes intimidated by all the really great pictures that get posted here.

Next time I may see if I can get ScubaJenny to give me a guided tour:sly: Racing around on my own, I'm sure I didn't see half of what I should have with an hour's dive. It was definitely fun though, in spite of being yelled at by the lifeguard for coming up in the swimming area:what:

traveler218, congrats on working on your troll status. I believe that onet of must have/ must do to become a toll, getting yelled at by the lifeguard is on that list.

NOT that I would dare condone or encourage such erroneous behavior.

Or get Jenny to hold a parking slot for you!

I don't know if it helps me get my troll card but I had a guy threaten to run me over once when I tried it. I think the person he was telling over the phone about the "cracker" he was going to kill reminded him that's quite illegal so he settled for parking perpendicular in front of the spot "so if I can't have it then neither can the person you are holding it for!"

Funny thing once I let him have the spot he parked and promptly walked off the property to god knows where down the street.

I think some photographers don't trust other photographers with their finds. Are there people who invest three grand in a camera so they can steal critters that other photographers show them??
