Guess I'll try the dangerous and scary east side today, seeing as how four hours on the west side yesterday turned up so little of interest. Probably wait til noon or so for entry.

Ok, might not be up there. did a beach dive this morning and found a hotel of lobsters. Going back out. maybe tomorrow?

Nice to meet mntlblok yesterday at the dive shop. The viz was ok when we got in about an hour prior to hi tide--about 20 ft. Before we got in, we could smell fresh water; and well before slack tide could see the shimmering in the water. We saw a stargazer and then later a dead stargazer--I'm thinkin' caught by a fisherman and wondering how THAT went! Enjoy your dives Kevin! Oh, the viz dropped off to around 10-12 ft after tidal change and temp was 82F.............

Pretty cool meeting you guys and putting faces to names. If you ain't a college professor, then you've missed yer calling. :D

Working on pics. Almost missed this guy going by as I was creeping up on a garden eel. Had to switch cameras so only got tail shots. . .

Head shot

Did actually manage one head shot afore switching boxes. . .

Added backscatter just for the twisted bimini.

Some used to refer to me as "Burl Ives, without the talent", fortunately, for me; most who knew who he was have now passed "GO" many times over!!:tmi2::D

Nice to see a Manatee! The Diva saw one a week or so ago and, of course; did not notify me until the critter had departed. Pointing urgently in Diva fashion!
