started the "breaking in" process on my new 4x4. saw a mud hole and could not resist jumping right in. i can see my truck and i are in for a long love affair. mud and trucks just seem to go together

LOL, wait till you bury it to the axles in mud. I did that with my limited Edition Daytona Ram over at Kings Grant when we had permission to go in there. Herbie got his truck stuck too but all my trucks are 4x4's including the Daytona so I just dropped it in 4 low and drove out of it. Hooked a tow strap to Herbies truck and pulled him out. lol
My crew cab 4x4 has been caked in mud also, lol but hey, it's a truck! it is meant to get dirty, lol

I LOVE my trucks and I could win the lotto and still have a truck.....course I WOULD have my toys too like a Grand Torismo and CVO Harleys, lol matter of fact, the CVO street glide is in my sights and I am shooting for it within two years. I just gotta quit going out with all these women!!! LOL it is cutting into my funds, lol

Looking forward to doing some diving this coming year with y'all~!!!

The 4x4 truck and motorcycle are nice but I have my site on an older pontoon boat that I can set up for diving. My 16 ft WarEagle gets a little crowded with more than 2 people and not to mention the older I get the harder it gets to kick into the boat.

Joe Joe Joe please please please look at "deck" boats also. The deck boat has a hull as opposed to pontoons. BIG difference in performance. You will be MUCH happier with a hull. Basically the same thing as a pontoon but it has a hull as opposed to pontoons. With a hull you can haul ass and make high speed turns.

Not a pontoon boat

I am somewhat of a boat head also. I have two very small watercraft.

And looking at more, of course

Lee you are correct to a point. However you have to be careful, because some of the Deckboats weigh a ton and are like a barge in the water, plowing instead of riding on top. I have some friends who have this problem. But with the right BIG LOG pontoon you can still run around 20 mph with load. I also want to plastic enclose the back section for though cold ( early - late ) season dives. Deckboats are not out of the pick if the price is right, but you can fine a pontoon boats alot easier and a whole lot cheaper.

Joe I just wanted to put some options on the table. It definitely pays to shop around. Are you currently fee based? Do you use your WarEagle for hobby or for hire?

Lee I am Hobby. I enjoy diving with family and friends and I know you were just pointing out some options. Thanks!

By the way Lee that wouldn't happen to be Phil Myers Deckboat in your video. He runs a Hurricane Deckboat which they are nice but expensive. Even the old one are over priced.

Hey Joe you and Matt,ll have to come jion us on the Edisto next year. We,ve been pretty successful and had a blast doing it. I think you,ll really like my Hookah rigg.

yeppers joe... it is Phils. the first thing your gonna want is a ladder that is strong enough to support wet divers climbing out of the water. from a mechanical perceptive this is a bigger deal than it seems. Phil designed one that works quite well. I was very impressed with it because being a mechanical tech and product design type all my life, the first thing I thought was that his design was gonna rip the guts out of the floorboard of his boat. Phil obviously did things right from a structural perspective because it has stood the test of time.

i guarantee Phil got his deck boat for a good price. Frugal people don't throw out a glass of tea when a fly lands in it. They pick up the fly, squeeze it out, then throw the fly out.

Merry Christmas & a Happy New Year!........ :xmastree:
