YEA! Got a commitment from a fossil head and a land hunt planned for the weekend! Is it Saturday morning yet? My scuba gear is laying here all dried out. Is it spring yet? should have some shark teeth photos for you this weekend Joe.

Took this photo yesterday. Was thinking how much fun this would be to scuba dive off of...

Lee, I am with you...I hate cold but dive it year round. Heck, the quarry here (Lake Norman quarry) never gets above 60 below 30' the entire year. (Will someone please speed up the global warming)! Anyway, I have my old 9mm neo. drysuit with boots built in that leaks around the neck and wrist and I thought that it would be perfect for a Edisto wade in scoop and shift. I do need to make me a sifting box. After looking at some you the picture and videos I think that I can figure it out but if someone has instructions then it would be a great help. I am on call for the 28th and considering that we are seeing a very large amount of patients I would simply guess that I will be called in. So the 29th is more than likely out but, the 30th looks great. So I would really enjoy pairing up and having fun digging. Now I have to get off my back side and break out the suit, put together a sifting box and see if I can make this happen. Thanks for everything Lee.

Tony ... I have a basket screen sifter (with floats) and a flat screen sifter (with floats). You are welcome to use the basket. I will post a photo later. I have not tried the basket yet. The flat one puts the gravel right in your face. I like that. The 30th I have plans to take the Jacksonville guys to a couple of Edisto public landing walk-in's and maybe the special Great White Creek AeroMike put me in. I have plans to do Great White Creek this Sunday. I will send over my Google Voice number Tony for fast text connects. I use it extensively

I use Google Voice and my cell phone. GV allows me to easily type in a message on my computer using a full size keyboard and then send it over using GV. Piece of cake. Fast and easy. GV keep excellent records also. Easily accessible transcripts on a full screen (17”).

I have never dove off anything that BIG! A few pontoon boats, but mostly my old 16ft WarEagle. It would be fun though Lee. I hope Ya'll fine the teeth this weekend Lee, I'll have to catch up to you the first of the year. Good luck.

I got one for ya.... I dove with Coastal Scuba for many years in the 90'. A few years back I went out with them an his scuba boats were down so he had to use his 110' fishing boat for his scuba divers. The giant stride was from about 12' up! Holy Cow! Yeah I think i may have found another good fossiling creek. Don't know why I have not seen it before. Its in prime territory.

Lee you say you,re going Sunday? I may be up for that. Got Christmas Saturday with my wifes side of the family. By the way got the new Hookah in yesterday it lighter than my other one and twice as much air, I,m really excited for the spring.Get a really good warm 75 deg day I may hit the Edisto.

Lee I forgot to mention but I have a small (less than 10 pound) water pump we could use to wash the sifter boxes with.
