Like most online newspapers, it took me a while to figure out that was a Michigan newspaper, altho it says they were taking the lumber to Montana and Wyoming. The story is from 2008. Wonder where Michelle Risch?

I'm surprised that Wet Wendy's allows the guy to use their bar as his center of operations. They should simply tell him to find himself another hangout, and when enough other places follow suit, the guy will have no choice but to pack up and head home. Cozumel is a small island, after all.

Because he is also holding himself out to be a PADI DM and is taking unsuspecting people for Discover Scuba and dive tours as well. We have already contacted PADI and they are aware of this as well.

Aside from that, his scams are not limited to the cabinet story here - he is targeting tourists for various things including snorkeling, the turtle rescue project (which he is illegally charging for), various other tours and even lodging options that don't really exist or that he doesn't have the right to offer/take money for, so it most definitely has to do with this community as well. That is why the part that applies is bolded if you read the entire story.

I want people here to be warned as many here frequent Wet Wendy's (don't know why Chad and Klara continue to let him hang out) and may run across him - he is a very smooth talker and is targeting tourists in general.
