It was nice to see DD and JimW at the bridge today...great viz at least 25-30 and nice temp too.

A special thanks to ScubaJim for helping me with PADI..... seems my first cert was back when they carved them on stone tablets.
So they couldn't find records of them. Now they are linked with my recent certs. THANKS for your time on the phone with PADI and time
with paperwork. You are an amazing friend.

Seems the photogs were very friendly at BHB yesterday. They were showing us point & shoot folks some of the little tiny stuff they were taking pics of.
How do you see that stuff?????? Anyway, many thanks. I loved seeing the little thingies even tho couldn't take their pics!! Really looking forward to Sunday.

Saw someone using a good-sized magnifying glass last time down. Hadn't considered that, but I'm not above copying others' ideas. :D And, I *had* been thinking that I might not have enough junk hanging off of me, already.

If you need "readers" on the surface, then I can't imagine diving *without* "readers" in yer mask. After recently losing a reader'd mask, I went looking on line for what's out there. There are a number of very reasonably priced versions, but I was surprised to find *none* in the dive shops that I visited on the last trip - even the great big one at exit 77. . . And, while that shop *did* have a couple of boxes of those "DiveOptx" "stick-on"-type readers, they were all just +1's. I'm finding that +1.75 works out pretty nicely for me. My stronger ones are a bit aggravating.

I'm still hopeful that some manufacturer will start building some "reader" masks with the magnification stuck more over by the nose (and a bit higher in the frame) than merely in the bottoms where the nose portion of the mask makes them (often) too far apart.

Congrats upon becoming a MSD! Happy Bubbles :)

I'm going to start a new thread called: "Blue Heron Bridge Trolls". And start it with my dive report of MedFlame03 day.

Just got everything put away and cleaned up. I am editing pictures now, but here are a couple to hold everyone over until later...
