Damn, Howard ... I'm impressed. What was the name of the museum? :D

... Bob (Grateful Diver)

I actually have a Win 2000 server set up that I use for some stuff... so I logged onto it remotely.

Says the guy running Win NT and Windows 2007.

For what it's worth, it works on FF under linux reasonably well too. I have definitely seen some minor changes to the look and feel as this has transpired though. As someone mentioned, the username, usercp etc were originally just below the banner and same text color as the bar but now I see them at the top in black (much better). I'm still using FF 3.6 on my work machine and 3.something on my home (linux) machine.

My point being it's getting better. Keep up the good work, Howard. I can't say I really like the changes but I'll get used to them in time.

Yes, it is taking shape and I am fully confident Howard will exploit all availiable worthy alterations...

Ok. I just found a Windows 2000 Machine with IE 6 and 1024 x 768 resolution, and YES it's messed up. I quite honestly don't know if there is a fix for this problem, as it has to do with how the site is scripted as a whole, and the browser capability. Chrome is not supported on Windows 2000 Server. Firefox however - can be installed on this OS, and does work just fine.

I tried this on Windows XP with IE 7 and Chrome, and FF 3 and all was fine.

Tried on Win 7 with Chrome, FF4, and IE 8 and also fine.

Playing on a Win2K/IE6 1024x768 box and get the same thing.

The "posting permissions" box at the bottom appears to be the culprit- it fills up about half the screen. When you use th elittle arrow button in the upper right of that box to shrink it the screen goes back to normal size.

Shrinking it only seems to be in effect for that thread though- reappears when you go to another thread.

This is a problem that is not fixable. IE 6 is incompatible... The only offerable solution is to use firefox.

Updated Flash, rebooted and dumped cookies again. here is the screen shots of the left and right side of screen. At home is fine, here at work not so good.
probably should eat at lunch instead of browsing the net.:D

What happens if you switch to Linear Mode (Display)

Are you using IE6?

I use a Mac. Safari. When I open User CP, a pop up partially blocks the list of threads that I'm subscribed to. I have checked the "Block pop up" on the Safari tab.
Dumped cookies. No biggie. Just thought I'd let you know, Howard. Thanks for your help on this.
