There are predators. Where I was diving on saturday viz was 20- 25 FTA few days ago I shot a pic of fireworms working on a dead octopus--never occured to me that they might have caused its demise...........We are going today, what was the viz yesterday??

He was alive and "in shock" (from the injected nematocysts) from many Fireworms that were all over him. Another diver and I removed some. There is nothing we could have done to save him.That is a great, but creepy, photo. Was the octo alive and moving when you found it?
