I would think we would also need a chapter how training standards have diminished over the years. That has been discussed once I think. :)

I think that could be a book of its own.

Blunting the dishonest hatchet of the Swindling Seamstress
And Restoring Truth and Justice in perhaps a Modified way

Standing by the highway
Suitcase by my side
There's no place I want to go
I just thought I'd catch a ride
Many people look my way
And many pass me by
In moments of reflection
I wonder why
To the thieves I'm a bandit
The mothers think I'm a son
To the preachers I'm a sinner
Lord I'm not the only one
To the sad ones I'm unhappy
To the losers I'm a fool
To the students I'm a teacher
With the teachers I'm in school
To the hobos I'm imprisoned
By everything I own
To the soldier I'm just someone else
Who's dying to go home
The General sees a number
A politician's tool
To my friends I'm just an equal
In this world pool

Magic Mirror won't you tell me please
Do I find myself in anyone I see
Magic Mirror if we only could
Try to see ourselves as others would

To policemen I'm suspicious
It's in the way I look
I'm just another character
To feed and brand and book
To the censor I'm pornography
With no redeeming grace
To the hooker I'm a customer
Without a face
And the sellers think I'm merchandise
They'll have me for a song
The left ones think I'm right
The right ones think I'm wrong
And many people look my way
And many pass me by
And in my quiet reflection I wonder why

Magic Mirror won't you tell me please
Do I see myself in anyone I meet
Magic Mirror if we only could
Try to see ourselves as others would

I am extremely worried. Knowone is beginning to make sense to me. :scared:

For the Jackals.

Wee, sleeket, cowran, tim'rous beastie,
O, what panic's in thy breastie!
Thou need na start awa sae hasty,
Wi' bickering brattle!
I wad be laith to rin an' chase thee,
Wi' murd'ring pattle!

I'm truly sorry Man's dominion
Has broken Nature's social union,
An' justifies that ill opinion,
Which makes thee startle,
At me, thy poor, earth-born companion,
An' fellow-mortal!

I doubt na, whyles, but thou may thieve;
What then? poor beastie, thou maun live!
A daimen-icker in a thrave 'S a sma' request:
I'll get a blessin wi' the lave,
An' never miss't!

Thy wee-bit housie, too, in ruin!
It's silly wa's the win's are strewin!
An' naething, now, to big a new ane,
O' foggage green!
An' bleak December's winds ensuin,
Baith snell an' keen!

Thou saw the fields laid bare an' wast,
An' weary Winter comin fast,
An' cozie here, beneath the blast,
Thou thought to dwell,
Till crash! the cruel coulter past
Out thro' thy cell.

That wee-bit heap o' leaves an' stibble,
Has cost thee monie a weary nibble!
Now thou's turn'd out, for a' thy trouble,
But house or hald.
To thole the Winter's sleety dribble,
An' cranreuch cauld!

But Mousie, thou are no thy-lane,
In proving foresight may be vain:
The best laid schemes o' Mice an' Men,
Gang aft agley,
An' lea'e us nought but grief an' pain,
For promis'd joy!

Still, thou art blest, compar'd wi' me!
The present only toucheth thee:
But Och! I backward cast my e'e,
On prospects drear!
An' forward, tho' I canna see,
I guess an' fear!

I am extremely worried. Knowone is beginning to make sense to me. :scared:

The new version of the Artificial Intelligence algorithm recently installed on the alien force universal translator is a huge jump in technology for the aliens.

Just because no one can understand you, it doesn't mean that you are an artist.

Just because no one can understand you, it doesn't mean that you are an artist.
It doesn't...??

btw .... a book?

I assume you guys mean an "eBook" right?

No, a book - real paper and ink.

If we published it as an e-book then scubaboard mods might find a way to delete half the contents and file it in the Whine and Cheese section of Amazon.com. :)

I am certain that Knowone's chapter would end up growing to be its own volume. It will be a major hit and they will make a movie out of it. Who do you think would play Knowone?

Can I audition? Here is my best imitation:

Tripping through the Great Fantastic
turn and watch the Paracletes.

No, I don't know what that means. Neither do you, the reader. And that, precisely, is the point. One must choose between concise communication and self-adulation.
