Check out the Hollis F1 fins........I think their regular size is on the smaller side. I will take a look when I am at my LDS on Thursday. I am liking my slingshots right now, but have used the F1's and like them too.

I have - I like 'em, but they're still heavy. I need light fins for the sidemount rig.

Hollis fins are almost as heavy as Jets. Not a great choice for sidemount.

The smaller sizes were out 18 months ago, at least size L. I grabbed two pair, just in case.

The smallest Slipstream OMS makes is large. They don't make medium size fins.

I know the Hollis fins are heavy, and I haven't tried them in sidemount. So I guess I will just pass on those for the time being.

Jax, I'm really happy with the DiveRite fins I bought from Edd when I was there in December. They have a long blade (longer than L Jets) and I get more power with them, but the foot pocket is small enough to be secure on my feet. And they are very light (I had to adjust my trim weights to use them at home!)

:rofl3: And you call Dive-aholic a crack dealer! :rofl3:

Edd got me in those same exact fins! :rofl3: :rofl3: :eek:k:

They're definitely good girl fins!

I'm using the Hollis fins. I had not noticed any issues with weight/trim but I will reevaluate over the next week.

I have the Hollis fins. They are fairly heavy. I noticed that when I am stretched out and relaxed the fins really tend to drag my feet. As a result I have tendency to have my feet at a 90 degree angle to reduce strain along my foot from holding the fins flat. To alleviate this discomfort I am contemplating purchasing the OMS, which are much lighter. Other than this issue I have no issues with the performace or construction of the fins.

They would be great for drysuit to offset any extra bouyancy that might be encountered from trapped air in lower leg. Unfortunately, I dive wetsuit...
