Yes. How close can you get your vehicle to the Mass on the West side?

You go in at Johnson Beach and you can go/drive about a mile, so you're something like 4 or 7 miles(I can't remember) from the end of road culdasac to Ft McRae.
I wouldn't consider it an option, honestly. It can be done, but there are easier ways, like crossing over from Pickens.

Did not look like it from the photos, but there are pictures of some of the seas that he paddled through. There is also a picture of coming across a pod of dolphins. That would be an awesome encounter out of a kayak.
