I kinda like Kiffen's cockiness, but some of it got childish....

but if he doesn't win, it turns into whining....



As another big SEC moment (unrelated to Kiffin), Tebow broke Herschel Walkers record for rushing touchdowns today. A record that has been in place for I guess about 25+ years.

Whether you like Tebow or not, it's a major accomplishment.

I think Lane Kiffen is a tool as you well know but I have doubt that he and his all-star coaching will field excellent teams in the future. they have played every game tough with the help of many yougsters and little depth. Just buy a muzzle please.

I kinda like the "Mouth of the South" attitude. We needed something different than the old "aw shucks", we need to play football, do things better, do the right things, focus, blah, blah, that used to come from Knoxville. That attitude could be seen in the players before the Lane Train. The players are starting to come to life and some of his cockiness is rubbing off. I'm 180 degrees from your doubt. I think Lane and his staff will start chugging out powerful teams that will be one of the Beast of the East Tn. was for a time before Fulmer stagnated. Just my opinion, but that is the passion of SEC football.

Yeah, the ole Bear Bryant and others routine of bad mounthing own team and saying they have little chance against Vandy drove me nuts for decades. I like better now...

Spurrier was a constant embarrassment to many of us. We liked that we were winning, but we cringed when he opened his mouth. Urban Meyer is such a class act in so many ways. It's really hard for the other teams to get upset with him... until they see the final score!

Can you believe it? My 9 year old nephew, thanks to Tebow, wants to attend the University of Florida. Even had to stop on the way back from Disney World.
