I think it was even more childish of the SEC to reprimand a coach for complaining about the officials.

Usually means that he hit a sore spot.

I hear from several sources that Georgia Bulldog traffic driving south to Jacksonville appears to be quite light this year as compared to the past. Speculation is centered on whether fans are weary of losing 17 of the last 20 games or if Congress's cash for clunkers program has removed from the highways all manner of vehicles normally sporting Georgia Bulldog stickers. Will report back with findings...:D

Yep, if they'd reprimand the officials making blatantly poor calls, the coaches wouldn't have to say anything. Arkansas and Miss games against Florida were atrocious. The penalty at the end of the Tn-Ala game was blatant, wouldn't have changed the game outcome; but is a valid source of concerns for coaches. When refs appear to pick and choose infractions to call or ignore, it is difficult not to wonder what's going on.

I posted this awhile ago but here goes again. First ever suspenstion of a SEC football crew. Not sure what game there are working today. :homealone:

SEC suspends Florida-Arkansas officiating crew - ESPN

According to your article, they won't be working as a crew for another two weeks! Glad to hear that. I don't think they were playing favorites... they were just inept!

Good point! I read the article a few weeks ago but just gave it a glance this go-round. That's why you own the joint. :)

I was disappointed in the SEC and how they are handling this...

A coach should be able to say he didn't like how the officials made that call.

Scripting what they are able to say will turn the SEC into "professional wrestling"
