Oh, I know where he's been... :D Nuthin' like a little good ol' fashioned ribbing, Gator y Dawg! :D

What do you think NetDoc? After 17 victories out of the past twenty games I have almost forgotten how to spell Lindsay Scott...:)

The only problem for "the mouth" I see in the future is that his daddy is eventually going to have to retire and then Lane will actually have to coach the football team himself...and it will be bad bad bad. :(

The college football insiders that I know (Bull Gators, Golden Warriors [FSU]) say it's all an act in order to appeal to young recruits who appreciate that kind of nonsence and to compete against Meyer & Saban. Then I think back to his scathing comments directed to the school officals and townspeople of Pahokee and the Belle Glades area during the heated battle for the recruitment of Marquese McKenzie and say nahhh, he's just a loud mouth. Know what? Tennessee is on top or on the short list of teams of many division 1 players in that area this year. If a coach were to disrespect and laugh at my school and area he would either drop completely from my list or have some splaining to do. I guess I am an old fogey now...:shakehead:

I hadn't realized this, but since Spurrier took the reigns in 1990, Florida has been the most winning team in the entire country! When I think back to the days of Doug Dickey and how we consistently lost to UGa, it's amazing how the pendulum has swung. Will it swing again? Possibly. But not this year! :D

I am sure you have heard of Bear Bryant's comment many years ago that if Florida ever finds the right head coach eveyone else in the SEC will be playing for second place. With Spurrier this quickly came to light but with Meyer it is so with greater intensity as we now have a coach that is the full package, i.e. recruits and has a two dimensional offence...

With regard to the streaky nature of this series it truly defines the term "having one's number" more so than any other series that I am aware of...

I had not heard that! Too funny!

Is that true? I honestly wouldn't have guessed.

No. There is a better chance of Dolly Pardon sleeping on her stomach. :) Sub par offence....

okay, that's a picture I am not going to get out of my head for awhile. :rofl3:

I am looking forward to the game, not sure who I want to win though. My hubby is rooting for Alabama as he wants the Nat'l Champ game to be Fla v Ala. I am sure one of them will be in it but I doubt both since there are still so many undefeated teams, and some of them are actually pretty good even though they aren't in the SEC. ;)

If you want to see pathetic football, check out our local team, UNM Lobos are now 0-8. Gimme a break! We are really suffering here.
