They surely didn't quit or roll over and play dead! I didn't get to see the game, but if the score is any indication, they gave almost as good as they got. I think they are still suffering ire from their ill advised en masse Goal celebration from a couple of years ago. Did Meyer do the time out thing again this year?

Sorry you missed the game it was a good one. It was a pretty typical in that emotions were running high and there were a lot of cheap shots going each direction. If you saw the Brandon Spikes eye wash on ESPN, believe me there were cheap shots just as bad the other direction. The dogs put up a pretty good fight thru the first half...but our defense was just to much for them. Not to mention the offense got rolling and had a great day. Aaron Hernandez and Riley Cooper were awesome! Coopers one-handed touchdown catch was incredible and Arron Hernandez literally carried three dawgs across the first down line-to-gain on an important 3rd down conversion. A good time was had by all...except for the butt sniffers.

okay, that's a picture I am not going to get out of my head for awhile. :rofl3:

I am looking forward to the game, not sure who I want to win though. My hubby is rooting for Alabama as he wants the Nat'l Champ game to be Fla v Ala. I am sure one of them will be in it but I doubt both since there are still so many undefeated teams, and some of them are actually pretty good even though they aren't in the SEC. ;)

If you want to see pathetic football, check out our local team, UNM Lobos are now 0-8. Gimme a break! We are really suffering here.

robin:D

Robin, bet the first born on Bama. Alabama has a much better defence than LSU's offence. UNM Lobos or Hobos? :D

Five more games until we get the National Championship two years in a row! w00t!

well Florida will coast into the SEC. they won't have a hard time until the championship.

FSU won't be a cakewalk, but it if they lost it would be a huge upset.

Bama can beat them at Atlanta. but it will be VERY hard.

I only got to watch about half the LSU/Bama game this past weekend as I was at work. Mostly quick runs back to the control booth where someone was streaming it on their laptop. But definately a deciding moment for the conference this past weekend.

I read a newspaper article that contended that Florida's Seniors may be the winningnest group of seniors in college history IF they win all but one of their remaining games. WOW!

Dude, Spurrier wants this so bad he can SPIT. A Gator team that eclipses his own? I don't know that he can live with that! :D

Spurrier's Gamecocks are very much capable of upsetting the Mighty Gators. Remember back to 11/06/06 when it took a super human verticle leap from Jarvis Moss to prevent being upset by the Cocks thereby paving the way towards Urban Meyer's first Nat. Championship....

That's why we love college football. A couple of turnovers, a bit of frustration, and anyone can lose on any given Saturday.

You are so right. In college football there exsists mismatches that spawns perfect post pattern long touchdown throws, an occasional linebacker being dragged into the end-zone by a quarterback (see Tebow), etc. which makes the game so much more enjoyable as compared to the NFL...Also throw in the bands, scantly clad coeds and the hightened spirit in general to make for my favorite spectator sport....:)
