OMGosh! That is just too funny! :rofl3: What's even better is that I've the urchins there play dress up, and they also wear sunglasses. :rofl3:

Ahh but the blonde me missed a better opportunity. Bill Mack Barnes showed me a stargazer & Lureen, my usual dive buddy, asked why I didn't put the sunglasses on it. Looking at the shape of the glasses I realized I missed a true Kodak moment. Nevermind tomorrow is another day
But look what else I saw cownose rays & eagle rays

Deb,
Those are some really cool shots!

I think I did really well spotting the first stargazer considering all I saw was a little black something with a little white on it. It was only sticking out of the sand about 3/4 inch and it was only about 1/4 inch wide. I stared at until I realized it was the tip of a tail. The disturbed sand helped a litttle.

Reen and I came across a snoozing Southern Stingray that let me pet it.

The second stargazer I found just by the disturbed sand. Nothing was showing.

Haven't made it through the pics yet. Hard to top Deb's!

OK Deb you have bragging rights for awhile! Maybe a long while!

sportxlh's shrimp is a golden coral shrimp (I believe) and acording to the ID book occasional to uncommon, so nice pic. Had my first manatee encounter also couple of weekends back. AWESOME!

These were at the bridge?? wow, great shots. Where were you when you saw the group (school?) of cownose rays?

Thanks I just started my dive just east of the swim area buoys heading for the east bridge Started to kick out & voila there they were in about 6-10 feet of water Pretty awesome Then on the north side of east bridge there were a lot of eagle rays I got a bad shot of 4 in one photo
Not as exciting today

Correct... I have several pictures from under the bridge. I usually find them hiding in the dark places

Had to miss Sat diving to attend my nieces 5th birthday party & when she gave me the birthday favor I knew exactly what to do with it. To those in the know I present...
I think we have a new SB contest... most decoration of a "turd" :rofl3:

I'm glad someone got the shots! Vis was up/down/up/all around... It was all I could do at that point to point them out to KBeck... and I originally thought they were a pod of mantas... the picture clearly shows them to be a pod of cows... cool shot!
