Oh yeah, great idea, Nick!! I think a number of us are planning on going on that trip :D

Would be fun to have another DIR lady to add to our group for the day....I'm sure the DM would really love that (hope to have Fabio again)

Yes, would be awesome although I am feeling worse and worse about invading the "chica charter" :)

Fabio hates me and I suppose I will continue to deliberately aggravate him with my ever sloppier giant-strides. I may go for a full swan dive on the last one :)

That would be worth the drive down just to see :D!

Thank you, Kathy. I do have family out in the San Fran area so would def be out on the west coast again. :D

Sam come on out and maybe we can make an event of it... Pt Lobos with some SB superstars from SoCal, MoCal and PNW can come and dive with you...

I'd love to do that one Mike, but time and money are both issues for me right now and I don't see any chance of improvement before the holidays. :depressed:

I keep bumping into Michelle here and there but we've never dove together... unless you count the she hitched a ride

Don has scheduled another Essentials class in Monterey, California from December 11 - December 13: Essentials of Recreational Diving - Unified Team Diving

I've talked with Don, signed in at UTD and registered for the class. (Not paid and fully committed yet, but working towards it.) This one seems to fit my schedule perfectly, so I'm jumping on it. I've got to finalize a few details, but I'm looking forward to the class.

Hopefully some of you recent graduates can give me a few pointers or even meet me for a practice session or two. :praying: I welcome any advice you can offer.

Kristina, are you up for this class?

Way to go, Eric! I'd sign up, too, but I'll be out of state during much of December. (Might be able to swing a dive or two in Puget Sound.)

You'll still dive me after you're a UTD superstar. Right?

It was great diving with you and Jeff last Friday.

I'd love to dive with you sometime Ben but you're always on your scooter and I just can't keep up...hitching a ride just isn't the same. When are you coming up to dive the North Coast again?

Hey Michelle,

Maybe one of the guys Don, Ben, Kenn, Doc or someone will meet up with us for a dive or two and you can check some of this cool stuff out for yourself?

What do ya think? I bet we could make it happen :D.

I'd love to dive with you and one or more of the guys sometime. :D I know all of them but Don, so it would be nice to meet him too.

Cool! Lets make it happen! Just sent a PM :D!

Hi Eric,

Congrats! You're gonna love the class! Sure I'll go out with you at BW and practice (I love to practice), although you really won't need it.

Like I said before - what's most important is holding position/trim. So basically when you go out diving try to drop down and stop about 3' from the bottom then try to maintain the position both vertically and horizontally. It's harder at 20' and shallower.

If you register on the UTD site you can read the course material - it's really interesting & they have great tips on how to hold trim.

If you sign up, you'll be the second person in the class - so there is only one slot left!

I wonder who's gonna claim the last slot in the December class?
