The reason I don't like flip-fins (besides the many possible failure points), is I know I'd get my stones busted something fierce if I showed up wearing flip-fins on a Jersey dive boat.

Not just in Jersey. Trust me. But it is nice when you are able to catch them when they stumble in their gear... and you are still wearing yours.

As a normal evolution with any new innovative product whether it is Flipfins or an iPod, modifications are constantly being made to improve and make it better. We have fixed the issue of "popping" on the downward stroke!!! It will not be possible with newly released series.

Regarding the above mentioned issue with loop on springs straps, we don't manufacture them. These are the same spring straps sold/used by the rest of retailers/manufacturers that use similar buckle system.

Omega Aquatics, Inc

Thats cool your fixing your fin, a little to late I guess. On the spring heels I'm abit perplexed when you say they are one of the same as the rest of the industry, while I'll agree the springs and the clip are one of the same, the crappy rubber pull tab you use is no where similiar to the ones widely availble from ISC or many of the other manufacturers using the same buckle system. I've have never pulled the pulled tab off an ISC strap.

The fin is a good decent fin, I'll give you that, the idea is great, unfortunately after a period of hard use they just haven't held up. The pull tab is a minor issue to the exception it shouldn't pull apart.

Thanks for some kind words :blinking:
With the release of new series, as mentioned above in this thread, the mentioned "held up" issue will no longer be an issue. The TPE material on the blade and sole of the foot pocket is the same material used on wheels of grocery shopping carts, to withstand walking from FL to Chicago. So when you are up for a new pair, give us a call and we'll make sure you'll be happy!

Some people are just destine to be followers.

Did not someone say, "If you are not the lead dog, the scenery never changes."

I think you missed my point, I was making fun of jersey boat boy.

And yes someone already did say "If you are not the lead dog, the scenery never changes." Follower

Guilty!

No, I got it.

The fact that they have and follow rule 6 just cracks me up:rofl3:

Yeah, and... junior ?

You got somethin to say ....grandpa?

Didn't you say "[sic] besides the possible failure points [sic] I know I'd get my stones busted something fierce if I showed up wearing flip-fins on a Jersey dive boat"

If that's your biggest fear you ought to have your stones removed.

oh and btw that finger smells like you daughter's cooter.

No, genius, I said, '...beside the many possible failure points...' meaning they're a joke and a gimmick. Don't you feel like a dick for spending that money on a fin that makes people laugh at you ?:rofl3:

Actually, no, because I never said I use the fin.
I actually never even indorsed the fin if you care to look.
But your statement, " The reason I don't like flip-fins (besides the many possible failure points), is I know I'd get my stones busted something fierce if I showed up wearing flip-fins on a Jersey dive boat." implied that the primary reason you do not like them is because your friends do not.

Meaning simply, you do not think for yourself, that's why I made a joke at your expense.

Do you feel like a dick knowing you made a false statement?
