Squishy: Try not to use the flash on that camera or it will cause backscatter. Little things in you pictures. I have the same camera and before I had a strobe I only used the cameras flash for close up pictures. But you just really have to experiment. Nice pics for your first photo dive. If you have any questions feel free to post.
Mrs Fic: VERY NICE! Love the Sea Scape. Nice turtle! The one I posted up earlier was about that size or bigger.
I went to St. Croix for the weekend. Did 4 dives, including 1 night dive. I have never brought my camera on a night dive so don't expect any thing amazing. I did 3 dive at Cane Bay and 1 dive at North Star. My deepest dive ever! I also snorkeled at Buck Island.
Hope you like them. Feel free to comment.
Hiding eel. (Cane Bay)
Spotted Eagle Ray (Buck Island) Down about 20 ft.
A little bit blurry but I love the Neon!
Just got a glimpse of the tail, but I still think it is an awesome pic.
One snorkel spot on Buck Island is covered with Elk-horn Coral like this one, but some are double or even triple the size of this one.
Juvenile Squid
I was told what this was called but don't remember. Anyone?
Some sort of Strange Starfish. Yes, I know it doesn't look like a starfish but I was told by a marine biologist friend it is. Cool, right?
Doctor fish or Surgeon Fish?
Overexposed but cool, Octopus.
More elk-horn Coral.
Edit: I just read an article that says only 2% of the worlds Elk-horn coral is left. So this place is a really rare site. You guys should really check it out. It is amazing!
