Sorry to hear that. Hope all turns out and heals well.

too bad, my 12 yo was looking forward to hanging out and diving with someone her own age.:(

I am sorry to hear about your daughter's accident and I hope that it will heal well. If you would like, you can still come. Clay's daughter is your daughter's age and she will be there and she doesn't dive so at least she would still have someone to hang out with. :)

I too will bring some firewood. My 11 year old daughter is coming too Capt. Grumby.

All, thank you so much for the sympathy and well-wishes. As I have said before, I plan to keep that Saturday free so that we can make the drive over and hang out. I know the "festivities" will start after the sun goes down, but we won't stay for that. If anything, we will come for a few hours and catch as many of you as we can on your SIs.

P.S. Jimi, you are included in this post as well, I just forgot to quote you. :D

Well I do hope for good news for you and your family! At least you can share in some of the fun and hopefully we will have good stories about the offshore dives! With Krakken...you just never know! (Huggies Dennis)

Dang It!! I just found out last night that Andy and his friend Andrew have an honor's society field trip April 18th and won't be back in town until around 5pm. I told him we would still drive down Friday night but it will be 8 or 9 pm before we get there so we won't have a chance to do any diving on Friday :(

I would love to do a night dive Friday Night. :)

Sound like a plan to me. I know Carolyn was talking about it anyway.

Okay. What time? I probably won't be able to make it any earlier than about 10pm. By the time they get home from their trip and we leave and drive 3 hours we probably won't be there until about 9pm, so 10pm would give me time to get my gear out and get it on. Is that too late? :)

Not for me. I don't drink so I'll be good when every. As long as I get some sleep for Mat and I to get to JB first thing Sat. morning. I'm "hoping" to take the wife on her first night dive that night. If she can work up the nerve. It should be great!

Vortex is the perfect place for your first night dive. That is where I did my first one. You know your way around and there is no way to get lost. We did an awesome night dive in Cozumel in February on a reef drift diving. You better believe I kept our DM in site at all times. :)
