Wow, this is sickening. ..... The campground staff sound like a bunch of Nazis. SICKENING.

I don't think the Nazis ever charged money to eff up your day.

I wasn't there and I'm glad. I'd love to have spent time with fellow SBers, but considering the events, I'd be in jail. I'm a friendly, affiable person, but; I'm also well known in the circles I run, to be very politically incorrect and my mouth will on occasion, go into drive before my brain engages. Verbal and threatened physical abuse will bring swift retaliation.
It really chaps my a$$ that such great folks as my SB friends were abused. If I decide to camp that way in the future, I would probably check 'em out and just when about to give them my money; "Oh wait, this is that #%*$$!+hole, ^*#*!#@ piece ##^?%#! dump that acted like a bunch of #!&**#$$ moronic Nazi wannabes to some friends of mine. Never mind, I think I'd rather pull my teeth and just burn my money!"
So sorry to hear that y'all had such a bad incident. I will say that I'm am impressed with the cool heads and reserve every one showed. My hat's off to ya.

I believe that this might be, could be, Mr Confrontational himself. The reference/comparison of Peace River Camp Ground to Disney is the give away.

I'm in favor of helping this guy. 1) Take him on a tour of Disney showing that in fact one can visit Disney Property ALL DAY without paying for anything unless they choose to. 2) Get him a watch while on Disney property - Mickey's hands might be easier to tell time with than that big orange thing in the sky. 3) While on Disney Property, visit with the new hire department and allow him to sit in on initial training where new employee's learn how to deal with customers first and foremost!

For Peace River Camp Ground to fall into the Disney catagory, they definitely need to at least start by adding some of the Goofy hats to their employee's uniforms and probably some "You must be this tall to ride the ATV's" things around.

Look at his profile and it gives it away joined 2/14/2003 has been Rving living since 1977 and his location is ARCADIA FL. I think he is one of those golfcart guys just by what he is saying. And he is twisitng the story because they did go the the front office to check in. But they left there vehicle up front at the office. Also the way he explains it and some of the words he used and his mentallity is of the golfcart guys is coming out.

I'm going to post something there as well, just because the Disney analogy is so stoopid.

It isn't a theme park, it is "lodging". They are the ones who kept pushing the "defrauding an innkeeper" thing so they are apparently running an "inn" to make a comparison...NOT a theme park. Now how many of you have stayed in a motel/hotel and had friends stop by to visit, maybe have a few drinks, or to go out to eat? Or have visited a friend in that situation? SOOOOO then, if they are calling themselves "innkeepers" then people should be able to visit their friends without paying.

They are tacky, selfish, and stupid.

And Becky, I like how you call us the ScubaBoard "Family". I wasn't even there and I am furious...mess with my SB buds and you've messed with me!!!
