Newly Certified Diver Looking for Buds in the Chicagoland Area

Hi all! Chill 26 y/o recently certified (NAUI 60ft) guy here in Chicago. Looking for some buds in the area to dive with. Haigh Quarry… Pearl Lake… Lake Michigan charters… Mainly keen on building dive experience and getting some dives under my belt. Nothing crazy.

Have only dove Haigh Quarry thus far.

Own a car and work a 9-5; my weekends are usually flexible & open, and I wouldn’t mind a road trip, either.

Eventually looking to branch out, craft a bucket list, do some travel diving as well, of course.

Welcome. @MWUE is probably the most organized and demographically similar group with events monthly or more and people ranging from newly certified to some pretty specialized stuff. The Facebook group is decently active here
