McCabe deserves a lot of jail time. He SHOULD have foreseen the potential for the accident and resulting death of his passenger based on what happened the day prior to the fatality.
 
Dustin was a menace for a long time. i crewed for him a few times (before that boat) and cut all ties with him.
 
Catch-22. Doubtful he can compensate the widower with no income.
 
It's not wrong to be leary of anyone you are not familiar with when you put your life in their hands
 
I am very surprised by this. My experience with him as a captain was nothing but great. Of course this was many years prior to these incidents and I was only out with him twice. I am extremely sorry for those who have been negatively effected due to his actions.

Those negatively effected???? A woman died a horrible death by being sucked in to the prop and drowned her in front of her husband.... That's negatively effected?

That's right and I can only imagine that there are a lot of other people that are still suffering from their loss of a friend, family member, loved one, etc. I certainly did not mean to minimize the death. I was merely trying to be all inclusive in my condolences.
