Just seemed like a sugar coated euphamism. Unless negatively affected = devastated

He deserves everything coming his way. I dove with him on his first 2 boats about a dozen times.

One time my buddy and I showed up and we were the only 2 divers. No dive guide. He was to drop us on a wreck trek and didn't require us to carry a flag. What he didn't do was judge the current. It was RIPPING and vis was maybe 30ft. We tried to follow his description of the wrecks and pretty much blew right over them, but we didn't know. We saw one part of it and thought it was the beginning. He kept the boat at the wrecks while we flew north. Another boat saw our DSMB and called him over. We were pretty far away.

Another time, their dive guide didn't even have a dive computer. This guy was doing repetitive dives blind.

I have video of this one. We went north to Juno. When we surfaced, a big storm was over the shore and coming east, so we ran south of the inlet for a 2nd drop. I will say, it was clear skies and calm seas. What we didn't know, a storm with a tornado and tons of lightning was heading right at us. I remember seeing lightning mid dive. We surfaced in white out conditions and dozens of lightning strikes all around us.
I remember there was a guy I met at BHB and he ended up guiding for Dustin. He never said what happened, but he freaked out on Dustin's dive operation and quit.

I believe I also read somewhere that the day prior to this incident, Dustin had a near miss, similar incident but were fortunate enough to avoid injury.

That was the spearo that testified at the trial. They have commented significantly on the other thread on this topic here on SB. They were injured I believe, but not severely so.
