Now you are name calling.
I am? What were you doing when you said you don't want the sort of divers who won't pay a non refundable deposit, who shouldn't be diving since they are poor and can't afford it?

No different than saying you don't know how to properly run a business. That's an observation by the way not name calling.

We offer a credit for future trips in the event of a blowout.

It's not a windfall for us if the wether sucks. Its actually the opposite as we loose a day and still owe you a trip.
You only owe the divers a trip because... wait for it.,. You kept their deposit!

It's simply applied as a credit to future trips.

That's assuming a recurring customer.

But I think there are two drifts in this part of of the thread. From customer initiated to shop initiated cancelation (for me the two are different enough that they warrant different handling) and the service provided. I noticed the first but not the second. It was the messages posted between when I started to write my own and when I submitted it that made it clear that I had missed that your services are more customized than what I assumed (and I think the original subject was).

Please provide a quote whare I called someone poor
Please provide a quote where I name called.

Saying you're a lousy businessman is an observation so that doesn't count.
