I have a AMD Ryzen 5 3600. 64 bit processor. My Zoop Novo works fine with DM5.

I can't get it to work with Subsurface but then I've not really spent the time - I just download the log file and upload into Subsurface.

I've no idea what any of this means but there you go.

My Zoop Novo also works fine with DM5 but not with Subsurface. I always have to download to DM5, export the dives and import to Subsurface.

My wife's 3 year old Mac: Works great
My old (2015) Lenovo with windows 32/64 bit processor: works great.
The computer shop's 2 - 3 year old Lenovo with 32/64 bit processor: Works great
My 2021 Lenovo running 64 bit processor Windows 10: Zilch

Their conclusion: The Suunto supplied USB driver (2014) is outdated and will not work with a 64 bit processor.
What version of Mac OS is running on your wife’s Mac? If Mojave or earlier, the 32 vs 64 bit conclusion may have some merit. If Catalina or later, that conclusion doesn’t make sense. Mojave was the last version that could run 32 bit. From Catalina on, the Macs are 64 bit only.
