They were used and on sale, I think some one had left them there or was having the shop sell of them. In any case, they had $35 marked on them but the shop owner came down to $5 in a "they are interesting but I will not pay that much for them" auction. When she got to $5 pure curiosity got the better of me and I now own them. I have sence found reference to a now out of business company that made fins called "flips", which is stamped on the fins. They made a fin for tube boat fishing which is very much like these. I am thinking Zeagle may have either relabled them or bought the rights to the fins as the foot pocket looks a lot like the Teleoz fins that they now sell.
