Yes, even dive shop owners go to other dive shops. When Troy and I started scuba diving we went to just about every dive shop in the Metroplex. We always liked the ones with lots of accessories, really nice people who wanted to talk to you, and good prices. We bought a couple of things off of the internet but we missed the personal experience. Now more and more dive shops are offering great prices and service, warranty, etc. So probably as an add on to a thread is what makes a good dive shop? You can add this information without making it sound like a commercial.
