Been there 3 times myself... Sorry to say Gordon, except for the 1st time (my 1st time on the island) I wasn't impressed. OK, last time Mia's meal was pretty good but mine wasn't. Maybe she had the Shrimp Capi The decor inside is awesome. Some of those old pics up on the walls are great. Except for the Museo I can't think of a place to see that kind of history.ggunn:Are you kidding, Christi? The Shrimp Capi is wonderful, and so is the stuffed squid. IMO, of course, and YMMV.
Yummy!!! Unfortunately my wife isn't big on places like this. She's not into Arrachera or Pork so I didn't get any the last time.Christi:Yes, that would be my favorite taqueria - El Pique

Next time we're in the mood for Shrimp, maybe we'll give it another shot. Like I said, I really do like looking around in the place.ggunn:Nothing to apologize for; DSFDF (different strokes for different folks). I've eaten there at least once on every trip for 20+ years, and I've never had a bad meal there. YMMV.
AXL72:Prima Tratoria is good food as Gordon has posted. Gordon is also right about the cigars, but maybe ask for a table away from the front and in the no smoking section. I think the no smoking section will not solve the problem, but it may help.
