Again, great photos Ken.

My lovely bride and I were signed up to ride the Express on Sunday and dive the park. She woke up with a cold, we passed. By your account of the conditions, she would not have liked it much anyway.

Looking forward to the calendar.

I'm serious. The entries and exits were pretty rough, and several divers were turned back. There was nobody in the water after lunch except 'dette and I. The Fill station closed early - the place was a ghost town.

Calendars are shipping mid week.

Thanks!

Ken

Yes, there are two resident octos on the platform and at least one of them doesn't seem too concerned about divers getting close.

Unfortunately Avalon has been a ghost town... even worse than the normal slow down between Thanksgiving and Christmas. Heck, I don't even see many of the locals walking around town these days.

Hi Ken,

Maybe we should of dove OML after all.:shakehead:

Naw..... Marineland doesn't have handrails. :14:

I had no qualms about Casino Point on Sunday.

Marineland on Saturday morning? No thank you. If I'm going to donate blood, I'll do it at the hospital where someone can benefit.

Casino was fine. It was frisky. Made me pay attention.

S'all good.

The nudibranchs and octopus and camouflaged kelp fish and mantis shrimp holes and dense clouds of blacksmith were all wonderful... and completely worth the shoreline hustle with an equally skilled buddy.

You have to trust you gut instinct. Ken and I don't go if one or both of us think it's not wise. Then, when we go... we go like banshees!

It was a very satisfying day of diving, challenges, and successes.

Thanks, Ken! I loved it!
