I would like to know if there is any difference between the 50 and 200(other than the swivel turret)
I use a 50 on a deco tank and would like to replace a poseidon that I use on my doubles.
I can t have the poseidon serviced locally and hate paying the high cost of service when I do send it out.

I use both actually. I use the XTX 200 as my primary and the XTX 50 as my back up. Both breathe exceptionally well. So well that I cannot really tell the difference between the two. Grant it I don't dive deep with them (about 100 ft) or very cold (about 54 F) compared to others, but they have each performed well during all of my dives. Hopefully those who are more familiar with the inner workings of the regs will join the thread with their insight. From a practical, real world experience, I can say that they both breathe beautifully and I am very pleased with them.

I have to agree with the previous poster. I have both. I have the XTX Tungsten and the XTX 50 Octo. Breath exceptionally well. I had my down to 150ft breathing smoothly the same as if at 30 feet.

The only real difference is the design of the first stage. The 200 is a single body with angled ports. The 50 has a swivel for the lp ports. The breathing is identical I belive. I have a 200 because I got a good deal on it.
