Rumors say that the device was sold to another company.

Will we see a sw update for our BT. Such a shame...

No panic please
BLACK is and will be manufactured. If it comes to discontinuation of a bottom timer we were talking about it for over a year now with customers at dive shows etc,
reason is simple, we don't manufacture in China etc, have higher than most companies (making stuff there) production costs and selling BLACK as bottom timer only is simply not
profitable but function of a plain bottom timer will be still selectable in both models EANx or TMx and updates will be provided as always.

The truth is that you are a simple USA importer so I appreciate your "We" but you do not live in Poland where these devices are built.
Despite of who is and who makes what, this is an international forum so it's a little reductive speaking of "customers at dive shows etc".
Nobody knew nothing at Boot in Dusseldorf nor EUDI in Bologna.
XDeep web site doesn't state anything. Black BT simply disappeared without a fu**Ing word from them as usual.
They way in which this company behaves with their customers is a case study of itself.

I'm saying "we" as by agreements we are full extension of xDeep company in Americas to the point that should concern customer.
Also "we" are in constant every day contact with owner / manufacturer, we are part of many discussions, planning etc.

I'm not sure what booth you have visited in Dusseldorf as there was everybody from xDeep including owners, manufacturing etc so definitely if
anybody knows the very details they were there all for customers, in fact we also had them two years in a row at DEMA show.

and by the way we're still selling BLACK's as bottom timers, how long before bottom timer only option will be discontinued? Its a solely decision of a manufacturer.

If you hired someone with a good command of written English, you would go a long way toward resolving negative perceptions of your company in the US. Just saying.
