Depends on what kind of diving you like. I wouldn't mind diving in some cold water if the water is somewhat clear. I'm sure Colorado has lakes and springs like that. I'd like to explore it sometime and find some places to dive up there.

My parents used to own some property off some wicked dirt roads northwest of Trinidad, CO. I remember us all driving up there as a kid and seeing some springs/creeds with some crystal clear water. I'm sure there are some lakes that have some pretty good visibility. I'm sure you just have to want to dive in cold water. :)
 
my bad, I got confused for a minute, the spring Near Wendover I was refering is called Blue Lake. www.divemagic.com has a little bit of information on it.
