Just booked my second trip for this year which is my second trip total to Cozumel. What can I expect for wx not counting hurricanes. Looking for chances the port will be closed, etc. Just want a back up plan incase. Thanks. I'm hooked.

There's no diving backup plan when we have a significant tropical storm or hurricane (vs. a Norte in winter) -- boats are tied in the marinas, hauled out, or moved out of harm's way. Can't predict the weather but, on the whole, August is usually very nice, quiet around town, and very HOT. In the ocean's a great place to be!
