Wrek Trek? What is that? I assume it's the standard list of shallow wrecks?

is an annual dive that runs Sept. 21-27 at Ocean Reef Club, Key Largo.
some of the qrecks posted on the list will be; USS Coast Guard Cutters Bibb and Duane,USS Spiegel Grove which is the largest ship ever sunk as an artificial reef. It is an LDS 32,510ft long by 84ft wide.
you can go to www.zeagle.com which will give you more info on the Spiegel Grove and the Wreck Trek event.:)

As a diver and resident of Key Largo I have done several dives on all of the wrecks featured in the Wreck Trek. If you have the experience, (preferably AOW) you will not be disappointed!! All of these wrecks are awesome in their own way and the Grove is really amazing.

Have fun and dive safe.

I was the dive boat captain for Ocean Reef for a few years. They're good folks, you'll have fun. Bibb and Duane are a looong boat ride from Ocean Reef club though.

Wow, i wasn't aware deep wrecks were better than shallow wrecks. Are we using diving to gauge our manhood? Or just being scuba snobs looking down our noses at people who seem to enjoy diving without feeling the need to be extreme???

And what do use to gauge yours Bradford? Starting arguments with people you've never spoken to before maybe? Are you the Great God of Bunny Diving or just a jerk?

Again, very interesting. I take it this board is only for people with big egos? As for starting fights, maybe someone needs to scroll up, I wasn't the one making the bad comments about other divers who happened to be excited because they are getting a chance to enjoy diving.
Also funny how you make a comment about people who you have never spoken to, and then suggesting someone else is a jerk.
I don't think I've ever talked to you. Matter of fact, I'm sure of it.

I thought this board was for people who enjoy diving. guess I was wrong.

Bunny Diving?? interesting.
unfortunately, I don't live on the beach in Florida where the water temp is always over 80, and the vis is always over 100 feet.
I have to settle for diving in the graveyard of the Atlantic where the conditions are unpredictable.

the point of my first post was that diving is diving. isn't it enough that a person is taking part in the sport?
