Hi,
we just wanted to let you know that we have just released the dive site of the Olympic II:

usaca_lax_olympic_2b.JPG

She rests at about 100ft in the Horseshoe Kelp Bed, almost 4 miles South South East of the Angel's Gate - off San Pedro.
More info here

Special thanks to Steve Lawson and the California Wreck Divers for having provided ample research material to this project.

Enjoy

Are those currents pulling you in a North East Direction on the Olympic Sim?
Thanks for adding another great edive!

We are developing algorithm to simulate currents ;) .... I am not yet sure if it will be available in the next release (mid March) ... but most likely it will be in the ScubaShow one (along with other new goodies)

....

You are welcome; I am glad you like the simulator. Keep using it and tell your friends.

Since it is raining today ... no real diving .. so I am back to work ... I would like to finish the virtual dive for Scripp Canyon before I leave for Brasil :D

I did the edive again and I'm now being pulled in the opposite direction. I checked the keys on my keyboard and nothing seems to be stuck... I wonder whats pulling me around then? Kind of weird.

That is very weird ..... never heard about this before ...:shocked2:

Are you in "first person view" (you see the mask) or in "camera view" (you see the diver)?

Are you on the bottom or midwater?

First Person view and a few feet off the bottom.

First Person view and a few feet off the bottom.

I just did a dive myself and everything looks ok to me.

Are you sure you are not too close to the bottom and are bumping into the wreck itself?
