DeepBlueDivers:
Hi All
I think the deepest that a man has been on scuba is 313meters 1040ft Approx but what is the world record for women?

Does anyone know of any links etc
Way deeper than a man, just ask one. They think we're shallow.

:D

Gary D.

I think it's 511 fsw...I can't believe I forget her name, but alas I can't recall..

Dr. Sylvia Earl???

Yeah, I guess she's the deepest in a sub..but she wasn't the gal...i think she was the wife of Brett Gilliam or one of those guys....my Trimix instructor told me about her and I was totally inspired...

I'll find out and get back - but surely someone will know here...

Dr. Earl has an untethered record of 3,333 feet, which I believe was in an atmoshere suit.

If you count surface-supplied diving it will be a lot deeper than scuba dives. Some of those really crazy sat divers get way down there.

Mark Ellyatt has a record at 1023 feet on scuba.

If official free diving stats count, Tanya Streeter has been to 525 fsw on one breath. If unofficial, Audie Maestre went to 547 fsw the day before she died.
