Btw, am I the only one that misses Pierlugi Collina??
I think he's the best ref in a generation.

He's the best ref in ANY sport that I've ever seen.

Not only the best official, but one with character. You knew he was in the game all of the time.

Yes, I do miss him....he was the best referee in football history.

He is probably the only officiating body besides Ed Hockules that is recognizable for all the right reasons. Except he doesn't get the whole replay challenge thing that the NFL does.

Actually the reason I hear why he's not officiating anymore is that in Serie A there's an age limit on referee's of 45 or something.

And Mr. Collina is 46 I think......., people were trying to get them to make a special exception for him, but it never happened..
